Well, I'm back after having missed the last 2 weeks of this fun post... which means that I must be slightly more organised, and/or slightly less busy than I have been. This is what I've been up to:
Screen printing-- nice people tell me all the time that I must be so talented and creative to do what I do, I tell them that I'm just patient, and I believe it. No one is an ace at anything when they first begin, some people might be better than others, but it's all down to sticking at it... keeping calm when things stuff up (as they inevitably do sometimes), and persevering... here's some proof that I can be patient... using this one small screen (a little smaller than A4)...
+ a pot of red paint
+ a squeegee
+ only a minimal amount of bad language and deep breathing
= a whole lot of hand-holders!

Happy Thursday! Hope you get to use your creative space where ever you are, and don't forget to check out everyone else's space at and via Kootoyoo.

how awesome is you fabric :D Love it!

Eek! I love it ALL!
I love the pretty red girls, I love the yet-to-be-stuffed-softie. I love the orange. I love the birds...!
I have the opposite affliction to you - ishoos with illustrator (as in, don't know how to use it, hard to find the time to learn) and a sore wrist from drawing by hand! (Oooohparently I don't hold my pencil "correctly" phooey...)

These look great, well done. I wish I had your patience, it's something I lack. Sewing really pushes my limits. I usually like small projects that I finish quickly and easily, and where I can get that sweet feeling of satisfaction.

Great post. Absoluetly loveley fabric, and I can so relate to the patience thing! I love how we all just make do with what we've got - often it ends up so much better than we could have dreamed.

Wow! That is an amazing output! I do screen printing too so I think I know how long and how many swear words were involved! ;) Your organisation and calmness are inspirational... maybe posting a creative space every three weeks is the answer? Thanks for such a great space :) K
